Project Outline

Topgallant Partners realizes that every project’s success is dependent on factors that remain constant during the project implementation. Topgallant Partners Professional Services Provide and rely upon these key foundations.

Our project methodology consists of 5 phases: Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization.

Planning

During the initial phases of the process we spend an appropriate amount of time understanding the goals and dynamics of an organization to gain a sense of business goals, time lines and organizational structure. During the initial process we develop processes that include providing effective documentation, identify Key Stakeholders and Technical Personnel encourage Executive Management Sponsorship and develop and define realistic Time Frames and goals as well as identify possible road blocks. These planning actions should include:

  • Creation of Stakeholders Council
  • Identification of the Executive Sponsor
  • Definition of Business Requirements and Business Goals
  • Develop and finalize Project Plan
  • Develop actionable and realistic project plan that incorporates
  • Develop Business and Technical Goals
  • Define End User Requirements
  • Identify Technical Constraints
  • Identify Available Resources
  • Classify Business and Organizational Roadblocks
  • Develop Reporting Requirements
  • Create Milestones and Timelines

Design

During the Design Phase we work with the organization to: Identify existing infrastructure. Provide technical and business based evaluation of current capabilities. Provide appropriate technical Analytical Summary of current organizational resources, technical capabilities and overall responsibilities

Identify current work flows and application Requirements and provide detailed and written technical proposal based on assessment. These specific tasks include:

  • Conceptual Design Documentation
  • Development of  Consistent Training and Test Plan
  • Assignment of Appropriate Resources to specific tasks
  • Development  appropriate Bill of Materials
  • Identify Potential area for Pilot/Test
  • Initiate draft discussion with key stakeholder and Executive Sponsor to determine feasibility of project
  • Development of finalized approach by affirmation from key stakeholders and Executive Management
  • Modify Project Plan as appropriate to reflect changes (if any) that may result in changes to Project Schedule
  • Finalize and Maintain appropriate documentation

Implementation Phase

Once the final phase has begun, Topgallant Partners will provide Technical Assistance to RTM Communications to ensure that the rollout is in a twofold structured implementation: Laboratory/Pilot Test Bed and Phased Rollout.

Laboratory/Pilot Test Bed

We would suggest a Test Bed Phase allowing for non-disruptive proof of concept through initial materials provided conditionally by Vendor. We ensure that this phase is coordinated and creates learning and training environment that:

  • Provides Feedback for a higher probability of success
  • Is appropriately Time boxed
  • Provides Design Verification
  • Ensures Application Functionality
  • Allows for End-User and Application Feedback
  • Creates Isolated but Realistic Live Environment
  • Provides continued feedback for appropriate time frames and required resources

Phased Rollout

We would suggest that we begin a Phased Roll-out based on the success of Lab and Conceptual Testing. This phase requires a high degree of hands on and effective Project Management. This phase is best characterized by:

  • Effective Communications and Supervision
  • Accurate Reporting and Communications
  • Constant monitoring and Identification of roadblocks
  • Coordinated and appropriate and agreed upon modifications to overall Project Plan
  • The initiation of the Training and Testing Plan

Operation and Optimization

The Final Phase requires, providing End-User Training, Phased On-Site Support Plan, as well as appropriate tuning of systems and operation support required and we will provide Consultation and Engineering Services as required
