AMGEN Center, One Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA

This 370,000 GSF multi-tenant research facility was developed by AMGEN (the biotech giant) to meet a stringent Return on Investment (ROI) requirement. AMGEN occupies two of the eight floors, while the remaining floors were designed to accommodate multi-tenant biomedical laboratory occupancy. The facility was also designed to accommodate a 30,000 GSF animal facility. The telecommunications infrastructure planning required full route diversity necessitated the coordination of "right-of-way" permitting and permissions from adjacent property owners, utilities, and other authorities having jurisdiction.

Bayer Corporation, West Haven, CT

Utility Master Plan detailing current utility distribution, functionality and capacities related to communications systems.

Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc., Ridgefield, CT

Provided emerging technologies support selection services that included testing, evaluation and customization of next generation wireless LAN infrastructures, network management and security applications to allow the client to deploy company-wide secure wireless LAN/WAN access.

Fisher Scientific International Corporate Headquarters, Hampton, New Hampshire

Provided physical security systems design for FSI's multi-building campus headquarters in coastal New England. The integrated design includes video security, access control and remote site monitoring through central and distributed monitoring stations. A state-of-the-art pan, tilt, zoom color camera access control system was also deployed. The system features a biometric reader for tetherless access for corporate executives and the video feed is tied into the security systems digital video recorder storage array for future playback as may be required.

Johnson & Johnson Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Rochester, NY

Communications engineering, construction administration, and move coordination services for J&J's 355,000 SF office and pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in upstate New York. The project involves voice/data/video network infrastructure, bar code tracking systems, security, access, A/V equipment specifications, bid management, move management and "cut over" coordination, campus master planning, raised (access) floor computer room design and fault tolerant data network system integration services.

Johnson & Johnson Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Somerset Labs, Irvine, CA

Telecommunications project management support services to establish a consistent roll out of telecommunications and network services to geographically dispersed offices. Telecommunications infrastructure and equipment specifications were developed for this 12,000 SF blood processing facility and laboratory.

Pfizer, Cambridge Discovery Technology Center, Cambridge, MA

This 5-story, 100,000 SF Technology Center includes molecular biology, fermentation suites, robotics and high throughput screening, cell biology, ionization, flow cytometry, protein chemistry, drug finder laboratories, and shared laboratory support spaces such as autoclaves, glass wash, darkroom and environmental rooms. In support of the facilities enormous computer demands, special attention was given to assure a coordinated effort by all disciplines in delivering a complete design and a quality installation of the telecommunications, data, and video network systems deployed. Significant project features include high bandwidth, low attenuation, fiber optic backbone, redundant cable pathways, and custom furniture coordination for unique connectivity requirements.

Pharmacia & Upjohn World Headquarters, Bridgewater NJ

This very fast track project required a three-week turn around time in order to meet our clients building occupancy objectives. The 120,000 SF tenant fit-up project includes community access television (CATV), closed circuit television (CCTV), satellite, telecommunications, computer room layout, high speed data network design services, bid management and construction administration services. The project features a full-route redundant fiber optic backbone for fail-safe network services.

Porter Neuroscience Research Center (Phase 2), NIH, Bethesda, MD

The National Institutes of Health Porter Neuroscience Research Center Phase 2 at Bethesda, Maryland is a new clinical research facility, of approximately 322,000 gross square feet, designed for use by the National Institute of Health and other research entities. The facility will be the second building of a planned two building complex together comprising approximately 600,000 gross square feet. Information Technology Services include the planning, design, and RFP document development for information transport systems infrastructure for voice, data, video, access control, CCTV (video security), CATV, Rees monitoring systems, and BAS (building automation systems).
