Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NH

Frisbie Memorial Hospital is an 88-bed acute care community hospital founded in 1919. The campus has undergone numerous upgrades and additions creating a challenge in terms of adequate pathways for new communications systems. Services included nurse call systems, operating room data modifications and telephony systems solutions for numerous off-campus associated practices.

John F. Enders Pediatric Laboratories, Children's Hospital, Boston, MA

The John F. Enders Pediatric Research Laboratories was named for the Nobel Prize recipient who cultured the polio and measles viruses at Children's Hospital. Here scientific and clinical investigators search for answers to some of the most perplexing childhood diseases. Major basic research areas include cell biology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, tissue engineering and translational and outcomes research in all pediatric specialties. Facilities services included as-built CAD documentation and room-by-room site surveys to update the architectural CAD database. A custom program was developed in the LISP programming language to export facilities feature attributes such as net usable square feet.

Maine Medical Center, Primary Care Facility, Scarborough, ME

Communication technologies services were provided for Phase I of a 150,000 SF multi-tenant building facility supporting cardiology, OB/GYN, general practitioners, nuclear imaging centers, cardio-stress test centers, mammography and ultra-sound centers.

Miami Baptist Hospital, Miami FL

This major renovation project adding two new floors to an existing structure required detailed systems coordination due to ceiling height limitations. The 80,000 SF of new floor space includes patient care areas and clinical research areas. The project included security, intercom, voice, data, CATV, Telemetry/Medical Monitoring, Kronos time management systems, Lanier Dictation Systems, Automated Medication Management Systems, and electronic whiteboards.

Massachusetts General Hospital / Institute for Healthcare Professionals, Boston, MA

This challenging renovation project in the Charlestown Navy Yard featured a 66,000 SF, 4-story, 170 year old granite building with exposed beam construction. Cable pathways were coordinated with the design team to distribute voice, data, and video connectivity in an aesthetically pleasing manner, allowing the architect to preserve the unique architectural features of this historic building.

Springfield Southwest Community Health Center, Springfield, MA

Automated workflow systems integration activities included deploying Bar Code Scanners and Wireless Notebooks for Physicians and Nurses. Provided support services that included strategic and tactical planning to create an effective strategy for Server consolidation, desktop standardization and a consolidated e-mail system.

VA Pittsfield Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Pittsfield, MA

This Veterans community care center provides primary care and in mental health services to eligible veterans, residing in the Greater Pittsfield and Berkshire Counties. The project included design, procurement, configuration, installation, training and support of new Cisco IP telephony system.
